Dr. Liesveld believes it is easier to prevent than to treat. He likes to foster a fun atmosphere at work and does so without sacrificing the quality of patient care. His overall goal is to restore function and mobility while improving the overall quality of his patients’ lives. His areas of expertise include orthopedics, emergency medicine and wound care.

Dr. Liesveld graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a Bachelor of Nursing degree. He served as president of his class at Texas Chiropractic College where he received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Liesveld also earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Samford University in Birmingham. Before joining the Healthcare Associates of Texas family, he worked in the emergency room at Paris Regional Medical Center, Paris, Texas. He also worked as a Registered Nurse for Home Care Providers of Texas and as Director of Physical Medicine for Health Star Alliance. Married for over 10 years, Dr. Liesveld has two children.

He enjoys traveling, going to the beach, playing soccer, and exercising. He also enjoys woodworking and tinkering with old cars, especially his 66 Mustang Coupe.
